The Prayer Centre can very comfortably seat 50 people; 34 people in front of the altar downstairs, with up to 20 more looking right down on the altar from the gallery upstairs, plus the chairs behind the altar.
Features in the Prayer Centre include an outstanding painting of St. Kevin by the artist, Sr. Marie Paul, and the specially designed altar by the sculptor Paddy Roe.
Attached to the Prayer Centre is a spacious repository with inspiring Christian books, religious objects, and items of a spiritual nature suitable for gifts.
Features in the repository include the painting of the Divine Mercy by Josephine Guilfoyle, and the beautiful shrine of the Sacred Heart.
God's Cottage Prayer Centre is located just 100 metres from Glendalough Hotel, while there are a range of B&B's and eating places closeby.
Just two kilometres away, beside the Parish Church are the self-catering hermitages run by the Mercy Sisters. They are ideal for the person who wishes to spend a couple of days of prayer in Glendalough. See www.glendaloughhermitages.ie.

The Downstairs Seating in God's Cottage. There is also seating on the balcony upstairs for another 24 people, plus 4 seats behind the Altar.
