From Dublin: Take M11/N11 (South).
Continue as far as Kilmacanogue take exit marked Roundwood/Glendalough (R755).
Travel straight through Roundwood following signs for Laragh/Glendalough (R755)
Continue straight into Laragh (R756) and straight through to Glendalough (R757).
From North or North West of Dublin (M1 and M2 areas)
Take the M50 to M11 and then follow directions above.
(If you are on the N2 and wish to avoid M50 tolls, cross from Slane to Navan. Take M3 but exit for Dunshaughlin, then follow signs to Kilcock, then see “From Kilcock” below
From Wexford, Enniscorthy, Gorey
Take N11 bypassing Gorey and Arklow.
Continue to sign for Ashford (Rathnew)
At roundabout in Ashford take the 1st exit signposted Roundwood/Glendalough (R764).
Then turn left onto the road signposted Glendalough (R763).
Then follow signs
From little roundabout in Bunclody go to Carnew ,
At the bottom of Carnew turn left for Aughrim
Go through Aughrim on to Rathdrum.
Go through Rathdrum to Laragh, and then Glendalough.
Go to Blessington, then turn south on N 81 (in the direction of Baltinglass). A couple of miles outside Blessington, take turn for Hollywood, then over the mountain to Glendalough
Either continue to M50, and then follow the directions from Dublin above,
Or else cross from Kilcock to Naas, then to Blessington,
Then turn south on N 81 to turn for Hollywood, then over the mountain to Glendalough
Either continue to M50 and follow directions from Dublin.
Or if you wish to avoid Tolls, take very windy road from Dunshaughlin to Kilcock, and then follow either directions given above from Kilcock
Continue up M9 until you see sign for Baltinglass
From Baltinglass continue up the N81 (Blessington Direction) until you see sign for Hollywood and Glendalough
Continue through Baltinglass until you come to sign for Hollywood and Glendalough
